'London - Paris - Roam' : one-woman musical show in Paris, Nov 13th

on Thu, 10/12/2017 - 07:04

One globetrotting lady suddenly “of a certain age” takes stock of her life so far as she ponders whether to say goodbye to Paris or not.

London - Paris – Roam!’ is playing Monday 13th November at 8pm at Les Feux de la Rampe theatre, next to the Folies Bergère.

Sarah Tullamore has jived in Japan, indulged in Italy, feasted in France… and suddenly woken up to find she’s now a woman “of a certain age”.
When you have to sit down to put your tights on, it’s obviously time to take stock.
So what’s the next move, Sarah?
Gay Paree has been magnifique but maybe it’s time for a change?

Saltimbuc News - Save the Dates!

on Thu, 01/19/2017 - 11:53

The Saltimbuc is currently rehearsing for a new show that will hit the stage in May 2017. The Pauper Princess is a retelling of Mark Twain’s The Prince and the Pauper, set in Tudor times with all its simplicity and splendour. In true Shakespearean style, you will find mistaken identities, a touch of romance and, of course, comedy, delivered (mostly) in a modern tongue, permitting old and young to enjoy what promises to be another great show.

Put the dates in your calendar and start spreading the word:

Saturday 27th May (evening)  – Theatre Les Arcades in Buc

Sunday 28th May (afternoon) –

Love in a Box - New PSAB Initiative @ MLK

on Mon, 11/14/2016 - 15:11

Love in a Box (or Amour en Boîte as it is known in France) is a school and community volunteer project that creates and distributes gifts to children at Christmas time. The program is non-religious and nonsectarian, and has its roots deep in the Anglo-tradition of sharing.

Boxes or backpacks are assembled by schools and community groups and contain personally chosen items from a specific list (toys, candy, something to write on, something warm, etc). Created with love, these gifts are distributed through organisations which provide services to families and children who would otherwise

Come and try out the International Choir!

on Thu, 09/22/2016 - 07:55

As Anglophone parents, many of us are used to 'lunchtime activities' being offered by the school. Here's one you shouldn't miss:

The International Choir.

This lunchtime activity was born of inspiration between the PSAB and the FSE, indeed it is one of our own Anglophone parents, Aviva Timonier, who leads the choir.

Aviva is a professional singer with bags of experience leading choirs. She will be teaching the children to sing in both French & English, (maybe even other languages, who knows?) in her own fun style.
