As part of the school’s MUN (Model United Nations) Club, fifteen proud students are going to participate in this year’s Paecember 3 & 4, 2O11. PaMUN (Paris MUN) is a conference held in Paris where high school students from all over the world meet to debate on critical world issues in a ‘United Nations’ organized’ way. In other words, the students debate in a formal manner in committees where each of them represents a country. This year, we will be representing three countries: Indonesia, Gabon and Paru in five committees: the Disarmament Committee, the Human Rights Panel, the Political Committee, the G-77 and last but certainly not least, we have a seat in the Security Council. This is without doubt an amazing opportunity for these students as not only will they have the chance to meet other students who share their interest in world issues and in debating, but also to have an insight on how today’s world functions.
